The Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine has declared it is going to streamline the health funding by 2016, said Minister for Healthcare Olexander Kvitashvili, with reference to RBK-Ukraine (РБК-Україна).
”2015 will be the year of reforms, we’re preparing the move of the healthcare system to another funding system by replacing costs for hospital bed days and staff salaries with remuneration for services provided... In 2016 we want to include expenses on healthcare into the budget following the said above principle – so that you can know what services are paid by the state, in what amount, for whom, when, how, etc., to make the system operate consistently, to help find another sources of capital except that of the government”,- explained Kvitashvili.
