The total outstanding debt on the loans issued by the National Bank of Ukraine to both banks and the Deposit Guarantee Fund increased by UAH 8.87 billion in February, standing at UAH 129.27 billion early in March. In particular, the difference between the issued and outstanding loans was 3.67 billion hryvnias, the NBU’s press-office reports.
In February, the NBU disbursed UAH 36.03 billion in loans, including UAH by 4.8 billion in loans with the tenure of more than 30 calendar days. The amount of loans for refinancing to maintain financial operations of banks and the Deposit Guarantee Fund equalled UAH 27.17 billion.
In February the stabilization loans were issued to two banks: PJSC CB PrivatBank totalling UAH 3.29 billion (upon decision dd. December 04, 2014, February 19, 2015, and February 27, 2015) and JSC Finance and Credit Bank (upon decision dd. February 12, 2015) in the amount of UAH 276 million.
