The total amount of public and publicly guaranteed debt of Ukraine on May 31, 2015, amounted to USD 67.661 billion, exceeding by USD 314 million, or 0.47% the figures reported at the beginning of the month, UNIAN reports.
According to the Ministry of Finance, in May, the total public and publicly guaranteed debt in the hryvnia equivalent increased by UAH 7 billion, or 0.49% - up to UAH 1.424 trillion.
Since the start of the year, the public and publicly guaranteed debt in foreign currency has decreased by USD 2.151 billion, or 3.08%, while expressed in hryvnias the debt rose to UAH 323 billion, or 29.337%.
