From January through June this year total proceeds from taxing social security stood at UAH 86.5 bln. In particular, tax deductions made in June 2015 exceeded UAH 16.5 billion, the NFS informs.
All payments for social security purposes are processed automatically via the software that the State Treasury Service has in place, being broken down into different types of social insurance, in terms of proportions and intended use, and placed into the accounts opened with the State Treasury Service in the name of social security or pension funds.
