The State Fiscal Service (SFS) has arrested assets of PJSC “Ukrnafta” for UAH 9 billion due to arrears of the company to the budget, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arsenii Yatseniuk has stated it during the report of the Cabinet of Ministers, RBC-Ukraine reports.
“Regarding the arrears of the company “Ukrnafta”. Now they have started making regular payments. According to the law the SFS has arrested all the assets of “Ukrnafta” exactly for the amount, which makes up UAH 9 billion”, said Yatseniuk.
The Prime Minister added that he considers it necessary to act towards “Ukrnafta” in such a way so not to destroy this company. “I would like to remind you that we, as the Ukrainian society, are the shareholders of the company “Ukrnafta”, 50+1% of shares belong to Ukrainian people and that’s why the task of government is not to drive this company to bankruptcy, but to make it profitable, to return UAH 10 billion to the budget and manage this company, as our honored parliament has stated through the law on joint-stock companies,” – he added.
