The Ukrainian photo storage service Depositphotos has attracted investments of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, as said the source, familiar with the details of the deal, RBC-Ukraine reports.
According to the source, this refers to the investment of about 4-5 mln dollars.
As per deal terms, EBRD will receive the minority share in the company. The received funds should be expended in Ukraine – this is one of the deal terms.
The main office Depositphotos is currently located in New-York, USA. In Ukraine the company has R&D office, which is located in Kiev.
TMT Investments Plc has also become the co-investor, being one of the first investors of the project. The fund is created by RBC founders.
Since 2011 it invested funds in almost 40 companies all over the world.
