The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has permitted the disclosure of personal data of citizens by social welfare authorities, as per the request of the Ministry of Finance, as it is evidenced by the resolution №136 dated February 18, 2016, published on the government site.
Thus, the document states that the verification is the package of measures on collection and comparison of information, received from ministries, other central and local executive authorities, local self-government authorities, National Bank, Pension Fund, unemployment funds, enterprises, institutions and organizations, banks and other financial institutions irrespective of the form of ownership, information, received from physical persons in case of assigning of all types of social aid, benefits, subsidies, pensions, salaries and other benefits.
Thus, the specified information is submitted to the above-listed organizations as per the written request of the Ministry of Finance. In order to carry out verification and monitoring as per request of the Ministry of Finance the budget holders, NBU, PF, social insurance funds, enterprises, institutions and organizations, banks and other financial companies, irrespective of their form of ownership submit the information, including personal data, information about opened accounts (current, credit, deposit etc), transactions, balances on the accounts.
It is noted that in case of accrual or receipt of welfare benefits, benefits, subsidies, designated for family and household, the information is submitted to each member of the family or household.
It is emphasized that in case of finding discrepancies during carrying out the verification of information, each month, until the 10th, the Ministry of Finance submits to the authority, which pays welfare benefits, recommendations on suspension or termination of payment of such benefits to the relevant recipients. The Ministry of Finance informs the government about recommendations on suspension and termination of payment of welfare benefits each month.
It should be reminded that individuals, who illegally receive the social aid from state will be forced to return it, Head of Verification Control and Monitoring of Welfare Benefits of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine Anrei Ryazantsev said.
