FitchRatings has preserved Ukraine’s GDP growth forecast in 2016 at 1% with inflation of 17% and annual average hryvnia rate of UAH 25 per dollar, as it is said in the agency’s message, UNIAN reports.
“In 2015 GDP decline was 11.6%, in 2016 the recovery is expected to be up to 1%. The inflation in 2015 made up 48%, and in 2016 we suppose it will be 17%. The hryvnia rate is supposed to be at UAH 25 per dollar in 2016”, - the message says.
The Moody’s reportedly expects Ukraine’s GDP growth since 2016 on average by 2% if reforms continue.
It should be reminded that the National Bank worsened Ukraine’s GDP growth in 2016 up to 1.1% instead of 2.4%, previously forecast.
As it is known, in the 1st quarter 2015 the Ukraine’s GDP plummeted by 17%. In the 2nd quarter the decline was slowed down to 14.6%, in the 3rd – to 7%.
