Since the beginning of the year the assets of operating banks have increased by UAH 77 billion, UBR reports.
In this February the assets of operating banks of Ukraine, not considering the insolvent financial institutions, increased by UAH 38 bln, or by 2.9% - up to UAH 1.331 tln as of March 1, as it is posted on the site of the National Bank of Ukraine.
According to provided data, since the beginning of this year the assets of operating banks of Ukraine increased by UAH 77 bln or by 6.1%.
The total assets of operating banks, not corrected for the amount of reserves, in February increased by UAH 43 billion, or by 2.6% - up to UAH 1.667 tln as of March 1. Since the beginning of the year the growth of these assets made up UAH 96 bln, or by 6.1%.
The liabilities of operating banks of Ukraine in February increased by UAH 19 bln, or by 1.6% - up to UAH 1,197 tln, capital – by UAH 19 bln, or by 16.4% - up to UAH 134.36 bln.
It is also reported that for February the quantity of operating banks in Ukraine, having license for conducting banking activities, decreased by 3 – up to 113 financial institutions.
As it was reported, this January the assets of operating banks of Ukraine increased by UAH 38,719 billion or by 3.1% - up to UAH 1.293 tln as of February 1.
