The bank has helped to select best online projects of Ukraine in the sphere of e-commerce, Correspondent.net reports.

Alfa Bank Ukraine is the general partner of all-Ukrainian rating “Ukrainian E-Commerce Awards 2016”.

“For last few years Alfa Bank has been evaluating the e-commerce market as one of the most dynamically developed in our country. Such rapid growth, of course, requires non-traditional bank decisions”, - Vladislava Huzenko, transactional business manager at Alfa-Bank, noted.

According to her, today the bank creates products and services, which allow market leaders to concentrate on its main activity, not distracting on transactional issues. “This is a full-scale finance ecosystem for e-commerce”, Huzenko said.  

The participants of the rating became the online projects, operating in Ukraine. All of them were divided into four categories: online supermarkets and multichannel retailers; online shops; online ticket sale services; platforms, earning on commission (price comparison websites, marketplaces, billboards and auctions).

More than 130 internet projects participated in E-Awards 2016, and the consumer online-voting is about 10 000 buyers of commodities via internet.

Alfa Bank Ukraine is the commercial bank with international capital, which belongs to investment holding company ABH holdings SA (ABHH) with the main office in Luxembourg.

The holding company invests in the range of banking groups on the territory of CIS and Europe. ABHH banks are located in Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Netherlands.

The ABHH owners are Mykhail Fridman 36.47%, Herman Khan – 23.27% (both are citizens of Israel, residing in London), Alexei Kuzmychov - 18,12%, Petr Aven -13.76%, Andrei Kosohov – 4.08% (all three are RF citizens, residing in Moscow) as well as The Mark Foundation for Cancer Research – 4.03%.

As per classification, NBU belongs to the group of “banks of foreign banking groups”.
