Over the sea the bank was remarked according to asset growth and innovation implementation, Correspondent.net reports.

Alfa Bank was named the best financial institution of Ukraine according to the authoritative edition Global Finance (USA).

It was said in the annual review ”World’s Banks 2016”, in the section “Developing markets”.

The edition traditionally assesses the growth of assets, profitability, customer service level, innovations and price policy. In addition, Global Finance makes surveys of experts and own readership.

It should be reminded that in 2015 the growth of Ukrainian Alfa Bank deposit portfolio made up 20%, which placed the institution from the sixth to the fourth place in the country.

The bank also occupied the first place in Ukraine in terms of issuing Visa Platinum, quadrupling the indicators of 2015 versus the previous. In addition, the bank obtained the special award from MasterCard for implementation of one of the best service packages on the market.

Alfa Bank Ukraine is the commercial bank with international capital, which belongs to the investment holding company ABH Holdings SA (ABHH) with the main office in Luxemburg.

The holding company invests in the range of banking groups on the territory of CIS and Europe. ABHH banks are in Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Netherlands.

The ABHH owners are Mykhailo Fridman 36.47%, Herman Khan – 23.27% (both are citizens of Israel, residing in London), Alexei Kuzmychov – 18.12%, Petr Aven -13.76%, Andrei Kosogov – 4.08 % (all three are citizens of the Russian Federation, residing in Moscow), as well as The Mark Foundation for Cancer Research – 4.03%.

As per NBU classification, it belongs to the “banks of international banking groups”.
