The Cabinet of Ministers assures that this will not lead to the decrease of social protection level of the population, RBC-Ukraine reports.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has cancelled the accrual of benefits to recipients of housing subsidies, as it is evidenced by the resolution №319 dd. April 27, published on the government’s site.
Thus, according to the document, while granting the subsidy the benefits on payment for housing and communal services and acquisition of the solid combustible and liquefied gas to individuals, who are registered (actually live) in residential premises (house), during the period of its receiving, are not accrued.
It is noted that the information about these individuals is submitted to companies, providing housing and communal services, and is put into the Unified State Automated Register of Individuals, Having the Right to Benefits.
It is emphasized in the message of the Cabinet of Ministers that this will not lead to the decrease of social protection level of the population, because the subsidies are estimated with account for benefits for payment for services, and the amount of the obligatory payment for services depends only on family revenues.
It should be reminded that six millions of families (about 14 mln Ukrainians), who, as of today, executed and receive subsidies, will pay for gas the same amount as previously.
