The day before the introduction of temporary administration, on May 19, Bank Mykhailovskii concluded agreements on assignment of claims on its loans to other financial companies, Economic Truth reports.
The loan portfolio of the bank reportedly consisted of loans, disbursed in cash through cards and POS at bank partner shops, and it refers to almost 111 ths loan agreements with balance sheet value of more than UAH 682 mln.
According to the Fund, the assignment of claims on the loan portfolio is conducted at much lower price, which gives us grounds to acknowledge these transactions void within the legislation.
Considering this fact, the Fund emphasized that as of today Bank Mykhailovskyi remains the only valid lender under the previously concluded agreements, due to which the borrowers need to repay loans only as per bank details.
It is also reported that the Fund is already preparing a statement on committing a crime by the management board and officials of Bank Mykhailovskii.
It should be reminded that on May 23 the Management Board of the National Bank passed the resolution on declaring PJSC “Bank Mykhailovskii” insolvent.
Previously the “Mykhailovskii” clients complained that they neither can withdraw money, nor pay with bank card.
“I cannot pay with the card, withdraw money and even refill the mobile account”, one of clients wrote on Bank Mykhailovskii Facebook page.
