The state company will develop existing mineral resources and seek new ones, Hubs reports. Ukrgasdobycha plans to increase gas extraction up to 20 bln cubic meters until 2020 – Chairman of the Management Board of PJSC “Ukrgasdobycha” Oleh Prokhorenko said during the round table on a topic: “Government’s Plan on Increasing Gas Extraction until 2020 – Myth or Reality?”, organized by the Association of Gas Extracting Companies of Ukraine.
For this purpose Ukrgasdobycha will develop the existing mineral resources, as they are in bad condition, though dozens of millions of hryvnias were invested in them, Prokhorenko specified.
In addition, the company will work on reception of new special permissions for extracting, which will give in total necessary 20 billion of gas per year.
“Gazprom blocks HFT (hydraulic fracturing treatment) extraction in some countries for maintaining volumes of supplies. Ukrgasdobycha relies on unblocking of the tender of this method of extraction in Ukraine ”, - the official emphasized and clarified that foreign companies are ready to work in Ukraine as per the rate, profitable for the country.
