NABU has returned UAH 45 million to the state, NABU Director Artem Sytnyk said during the briefing.
“These are the first funds, which have been returned to the state, - 45 million hryvnias: 10 mln are voluntarily reimbursed with regard to the case of executives of the State Cereal Company, as well as UAH 35 mln are reimbursed with regard to the case on Zaporizhoblenergo executives, on which the suspicion was announced to the former people’s deputy Kriuchkov”, NABU Director said.
According to him, in the nearest time NABU hopes to return other 100 mln in this proceeding, as 5 NABU claims were satisfied in the court.
In addition, Sytnyk noted that NABU and SAPO discrediting campaigns are being prepared. “It is evident that NABU and SAPO will be discredited upon the return of seized funds to the budget”, he noted.
Sytnyk noted that more than 400 million hryvnias are seized in NABU cases. “Our work evokes resistance, including on the part of law enforcement. I would like to be sure that this will not stop us, our work rates will increase, the number of proceedings, which we will bring to court, will only increase”, Sytnyk added.
