President Petro Poroshenko signed the law, ensuring that Ukraine will obtain privileged loans for small and medium farms, according to AP message.
As it is reported, the agreement was concluded on December 28, 2015, in Kyiv.
“The realization of the document is aimed at supporting the agricultural sector of Ukraine and ensures the opportunity to attract 400 mln euros for 12 years with a 4-year grace period”, according to the message.
It is planned to direct these relevant funds to modernization of fish farm and aquaculture in Ukraine and implementation of projects in growing grain and oil-bearing crops.
It should be reminded that on September 20 the Verkhovna Rada supported the draft law on ratification of financial agreement (Project - “Main Loan for Agricultural Sector - Ukraine”) between Ukraine and the European Investment Bank.
