The people’s deputies proposed imposing the duty on agricultural raw materials for the public support of cattle breeding, UBR.ua reports.
The Verkhovna Rada registered the draft law, stipulating the imposition of tax on export of agricultural raw materials, Economic Truth reports.
The draft law №5300 was published on the parliament’s site.
The initiators of this draft law are 10 people’s deputies, among whom there is also Leader of Faction “Radical Party” Oleg Lyashko.
The document proposes imposing the national tax – duty on agricultural raw materials, which will be used for the public support of cattle breeding through the special fund of state budget. The tax rate will make up 3%.
“As the result of adoption of this draft law, the individual and small household farms, which keep cows, will be able to obtain up to UAH 4 thousand per year as the partial compensation of expenses for their keeping”, according to its explanatory note.
In his turn, President of “Ukrainian Grain Association” Volodymyr Klymenko reported that the association is already preparing the appeal to country’s government against this initiative.
