The Cabinet of Ministers expects that the amount of the 4th tranche of the loan of the International Monetary Fund under EFF program, which Ukraine may obtain in February, will be USD 1 billion, according to the materials of Ukrainian News.
He emphasized that if in November the possibility of allocation of USD 1.8 billion under the 4th tranche was discussed, then now it refers to the amount of USD 1 billion.
The final amount of the tranche will be fixed more likely after the meeting of President Petro Poroshenko and IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde during the World Economic Forum in Davos, which will be held on January 17-20.
It is expected that the funds will go to NBU reserves.
As reported, in September 2016, IMF approved the allocation of the third tranche, amounting to 1 billion dollars.
Pursuant to the updated memorandum of cooperation, Ukraine undertook to implement the land reform and adopt the law on gradual raise of the pension age of citizens.
In early October, the Rada prolonged the moratorium on transfer of agricultural lands for the period of 1 year until January 1, 2018.
Previously, the National Bank of Ukraine expected for the provision of IMF tranche, amounting to USD 1.3 billion until late 2016.
