In 2016, as the part of implementation of the Rural Development Concept, the Ministry of the Agrarian Policy and Food started working on creating six agrarian recreational clusters in six regions of Ukraine, which will allow developing green tourism in the rural area, the press-office of the ministry informed.
According to the message, the resorts and parks in Nikolayev, Poltava, Chernihiv, Odessa, Kyiv and Kherson regions are determined for creation of agro-recreational clusters by the ministry, according to UNIAN materials.
«The implementation of the project on creating agro-recreational clusters will allow us to create a complex touristic product, extend the spectrum of services, provide villagers with jobs and additional earnings», the press-office quotes Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Taras Kutovoy.
In addition, according to him, as the result of implementation of agro-recreational clusters in territorial communities, it is planned to create nearly 3.5 thousand of additional jobs.
The press-office also noted that in February-April 2017, it is planned to conduct several regional educational and practical events for the purpose of extension of project-based approach of development of rural areas, based on pilot regions with attraction of the representatives of neighboring regions jointly with the EU project «Support of Implementation of Agricultural and Food Policy in Ukraine».
