The Cabinet of Ministers reports about raising salaries of public employees.
The official salaries of public employees and other categories of employees of public institutions were raised by 15% on the average, Korrespondent.net reports.
The official salaries of employees of state-financed institutions and other categories of employees were raised from January 1, the press-office of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine reports.
Since January 1, the first wage group of the unified wage tariff net, which is the basis for wages accounting in the public sector, is UAH 1.6 ths, and the minimum wage will be UAH 3.2 ths.
The amounts of scholarships were also raised. In particular, the minimum regular scholarship was raised by 33.4%, and the minimum scholarship for specific specialities (pedagogical, physical and mathematical, natural, mathematical, engineering) of the higher educational institutions of III-IV levels of accreditation – by 54.3%.
According to the data from the Cabinet of Ministers, this year, the salaries of teachers will be raised by 50%, doctors – by 30%.
The official salaries of public employees and other categories of employees of public institutions were also raised by 15% on the average, and since January 1, 2017, the minimum official salary rate will amount to UAH 2 thousand in accordance with the Law on State Service.
