Within the last week, the arrears of debtor companies to Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC for used natural gas increased by UAH 7.843 bln (31.5%) and currently amount to UAH 32.7 bln, the company’s press office informs, Finance.UA reports.
«As of January 17, 2017, the cumulative overdue arrears of district heating utility companies, central heating and power plants and direct industrial consumers to Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC is around UAH 32.7 bln. The arrears increased by UAH 7,843 mln (31.5%) vs. the last week», according to the message.
As Naftogaz explained, the growth of arrears of district heating utility companies and central heating and power plants within the third week of the month is typical and is explained by issuing certificates of acceptance and delivery of gas volumes, used in December 2016, while the population pays for heating energy delivery services for the last month until the 25th day of the current month.
The arrears of district heating utility companies and central heating and power plants for natural gas, used for production of heating energy, is around 84% of the total amount of arrears; the arrears of central heating and power plants for natural gas, used in the production of electrical energy – around 7%, the debt of direct industrial consumers – around 9%.
During the last week, the arrears of Kyivenergo PJSC for gas, used for production of heating and electrical energy, increased by UAH 1.504 bln (73%). The cumulative arrears of Kyivenergo reaches around UAH 3.565 bln.
