In 2017, the National Bank will check the intrastate Oshchadbank’s payment system «Fast Kopeck», as it is said in the message of the press-office of the National Bank, according to Finance.UA materials.
«The National Bank exercises the oversight of payment and settlement systems for strengthening protection of interests of these systems users and reliability of their functioning», Head of Payment Systems and Innovative Development Department of the National Bank Sergei Shatskyi noted.
In this context, NBU assesses the operation of payment systems, first of all, those, which are important and socially important.
In compliance with the plan, the National Bank will conduct full assessment of the system “Fast Kopeika” (the payment organization of Oshchadbank).
As per results of monitoring of the operation of payments systems in 2016, this system was recognized as the important payment system.
UAH 3.6 bln were transferred through the system “Fast Kopeck” within Ukraine for the period of 9 months in 2016.
In 2016, «Fast Kopeck» ranked the 5th in terms of transfers between payment systems, created by residents.
It should be reminded that in 2016, the National Bank checked Ukrpochta’s payment system – «Postal Transfer» and Zaporizhsviaz Service’s system – «InterPay Service».
