The Ukraine’s economic growth as of year-end 2016 made up about 2%, the industrial production growth – 2.4%, and the cumulative index of production exceeded 4%, according to Financial Club materials.
«During 2016, the Ukraine’s economy showed signs of gradual management of negative consequences of the lingering crisis, strengthening macroeconomic stability and recovery of the economic growth», - as reported in the materials of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.
The department noted that for the first time since 2011, the growth of industrial production as of year-end 2016 made up 2.4%. For the first time since 2012, due to strengthening macroeconomic stability, the cumulative index of production demonstrated the growth. As per the results of the previous year, the Ministry of Economic Development assesses this growth in 4.1% after dropping by 6.1% in 2015.
«In total, in 2017, the positive indicators, received in 2016, are projected to further strengthen. Thus, in Q1 2017 (vs 2016), the cumulative index of production is expected to grow moderately», - according to the message.
