Ukraine paid the coupon, amounting to USD 460 million, on restructured Eurobonds, the representative of one of foreign banks told Ukrainian News, Economic Truth reports.
As reported, USD 470 million of the interest revenue on Eurobonds, issued under debt transaction, were paid.
The revenue on restructured Eurobonds is paid twice a year: on 1 March and on 1 September.
The amounts of payments are fixed.
As reported, in October 2015, the holders of 13 out of 14 issues of Eurobonds of Ukraine for the total amount of USD 14.36 bln and 600 mln euros supported their restructuring.
It provides the exchange of 80% of the amount for new Eurobonds with extension of repayment period for four years and 20% - for state derivatives, the payments under which in 2021-2040 will depend on GDP growth rates.
The new sovereign Eurobonds were issued on November 12 for the total amount of USD 11.95 bln dollars with repayment in 2019-2027 at 7.75% per annum, and state derivatives – at 2.29 bln dollars.
The Russia refused to conduct restructuring on the Eurobonds, amounting to USD 3 bln, repatriated in late 2013.
