The updated wording of the Memorandum on the Economic and Financial Policy stipulates the creation of the system of anti-corruption courts until the end of this year, Minister of Finance Alexander Danyliuk told on ICTV, Economic Truth reports.
“The memorandum, which will be promulgated, has the continuation of reforms, which were previously planned. This is the creation of a fair pension system… The next direction is the anticorruption policy. It stipulates the strengthening of NABU authorities, the creation of anticorruption court until the end of this year”, - the minister told.
Danyliuk also noted that according to IMF’s internal rules, the wording of the Memorandum on the Economic and Financial Policy is confidential until its approval by IMF Board of Directors. The respective meeting is planned on Monday, March 20.
He reminded that Ukrainian authorities should obtain the fourth loan tranche from IMF under the Extended Fund Facility program.
It should be reminded that on March 11, 2015, the IMF approved Ukraine’s economy lending program with the use of the Extended Fund Facility, amounting to USD 17.5 bln for 4 years.
Ukraine obtained the first tranche for 5 bln dollars on 13 March 2015, second – for 1.7 bln dollars on 4 August 2015.
In September 2016, IMF approved the disbursement of the third tranche, amounting to 1 bln dollars, to Ukraine.
