Procter&Gamble invested more than USD 100 million in the modernization of the plant in Borispol, CEO of P&G in Ukraine Dmitri Kiselev, Interfax Ukraine reports.
According to CEO, as of today, the common amount of companies’ investments in Ukraine exceeded USD 300 mln. P&G invested in the development of production lines, the quality control system, the improvement of the productivity, the modernization of facilities, the renewal of equipment, the implementation of modern informational technologies and innovations.
Kiselev noted that since 2015, the non-waste production system was implemented in Borispyl’s plant, and the company plans to switch all company’s plants to this system until 2020.
Director for Communications in Eastern Europe and Central Asia Ruslan Nozdriakov reported that in autumn, 2016, the company completed a long process of global restructuring, as the result of which more than half of brands were sold.
“Now, we have about 60 brands in 10 main sectors, however, they sold more than 120. Those, which remained, generated more than 80% of the profit”, he noted.
