The arrears of companies for the consumed gas is about UAH 33.2 bln. As of 18 April 2017, the total overdue debt of district heating utility companies, thermal power station and direct industrial consumers to the National Joint Stock Company “Naftogaz of Ukraine” is about UAH 33.2 bln, RBC-Ukraine reports.
Versus the previous week, the arrears increased by UAH 3.9 bln (13.1%), the press office of Naftogaz reports. “The increase of arrears of district heating utility companies and thermal power stations during the third week of the month is typical and is explained by the preparation of certificates of acceptance and transfer of gas volumes, used in March 2017, while the public makes payments for the services on heating energy supplies until the 25th of the current month”, as noted in the message.
It was also reported that the debt of district heating utility companies and thermal power stations for natural gas, used for the production of heating energy, is about 82% from the total amount of arrears, the debt of thermal power stations for the natural gas, used in the production of electrical energy – about 9%, the debt of direct industrial consumers – 9%.
“Last week, the arrears of Kyivenergo PJSC for gas, used for the production of heating and electrical energy, increased by UAH 911 mln (24.2%). The total arrears of Kyivenergo is about UAH 4,682 mln”, the company adds.
