The corruption, the wealth accumulation of the ruling elite, headed by Poroshenko, the impoverishment of people, the absence of reforms as well as the pressure and interference of authorities with the activities of newly created anticorruption bodies (NABU, NACP, SAP) and the delayed creation of the Anticorruption Court, according to Leader of Justice Movement Valentin Nalyvaichenko, are the main reasons for the cutoff of US financial aid for Ukraine, Elisejournal reports.

“Unfortunately, there happened what I predicted and what the corrupt Ukrainian authorities did not listen to: USA cut off financial aid to Ukraine under USAID programs. I warned regarding it last December, however, the authorities traditionally remained deaf. My advice was not only not taken in account by authorities, but was actively denied by official persons, different footmen and robots of authorities”, the politician wrote in Facebook.

Despite the America’s centricity in the policy of new US President Donald Trump and global cutoff of US financial aid to other countries, the reason for cutting off the aid to Ukraine has its concrete reasons: the prosperity of political corruption, the prosperity of the ruling elite, the impoverishment of people and the absence of reforms. “The pressure and interference of authorities with the activities of newly-created anticorruption bodies (NABU, NACP and SAP), the delayed creation of the Anticorruption Court completed the list. The Nasirov case was indicative for US side, which the authorities ties hard to destroy. The partners closely follow the pace of developments around other high-profile cases and investigations in Ukraine”, Valentin Nalyvaichenko notes. 

He reminded that initially, the US authorities radically reduced the expenses for the support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in its defense budget up to 150 million dollars. However, the Ukrainian authorities did not respond to this bell ringing.

“The situation for authorities is not encouraging and the international pressure will strengthen proportionately to its reluctance to stop plundering their own people and lying”, Leader of Justice Movement summarized.

As previously noted, the former SSSU’s Head Valentin Nalyvaichenko have very close ties with the former Obama’s administration and Trump’s administration. The allegations of Nalyvaichenko can be deemed to be the unofficial position of the White House.

The USA repeatedly claimed that the corruption in Ukraine surpassed all records and was beyond the reach of reason.

For three years, Ukraine ranked among Top 10 of the most corrupt countries of the planet, where the richest officials, judges, prosecutors and the President live, while the public is on the verge of hunger.
