Energoatom NNEC, SE, issued the tender for the construction of the Central Storage Facility for Spent Nuclear Fuel in the Exclusion Area between the villages Staraya Krasnitsa, Buriakovka, Chistogalovka and Stechanka of Kyiv region.
The respective tender issue was posted in ProZorro system, Finance.UA reports.
As noted, the expected value of the project is UAH 939.084 mln (VAT inclusive). The tender bids are accepted until June 6, 2017.
It is expected that the works should be done within 24 months from the contract conclusion – i.e. until July 20, 2019.
It should be reminded that in March, Ukrenergomontazh PJCS started the construction of a new railroad line not far from the Chornobyl Nuclear Electric Power Station. The additional branch will connect the construction site of CSFSNF and the existing line Vilcha-Yanov of the railroad Ovruch-Chernigiv. The works are expected to be completed in April 2018, thereafter the new branch will be able to be used for the delivery of spent nuclear fuel to CSFSNF from operating Ukrainian nuclear power stations.
