Israel seeks workers in agriculture, construction and family medicine
Israel offers Ukraine to sign a bilateral agreement on the exchange of workers to streamline labor migration. This was announced today in Kyiv by Deputy interior minister of Israel Faina Kirshenbaum, reported by radio «Svoboda».
«We are interested in signing such an agreement with Ukraine to exchange workforce. Israel looking for workers in agriculture, construction and family medicine», Ms Kirshenbaum said.
Since visa regime between Ukraine and Israel was canceled in 2011, the Israeli Migration Service counted five thousand illegal migrants from Ukraine, according to the data cited by the head of Migration Amnon Ben-Ami.
The service claims nearly half a million people originally from Ukraine live in Israel. Ukraine, in the meantime, is home to 45 thousand Israeli citizens.
