The Agreement was fully implemented in neither of the spheres, the Vice Prime Minister said.
Ukraine falls behind the plan of implementation of the Agreement of Association with the European Union, Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze said at the session of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on Wednesday, May 31, Correspondent.net reports.
“We fall behind the schedule of implementation of the Agreement, and this falling behind is already considerable. I already said in March that in 2016, Ukraine implemented 26 EU legislative acts in its legislation out of 130 planned acts”, she said.
Klympush-Tsintsadze noted that the Agreement was fully implemented in neither of the spheres: whether it is the sphere of transport or finance, customs services.
Meanwhile, the Vice Prime Minister added that for the implementation of the agreement there are some positive results: the goods export to EU increased by 25% (in Q1, 2017); some European integration acts in energy, public procurement and environmental protection were approved.
In addition, 12 thousand State Standards of Ukraine were cancelled; virtually all technical regulations were brought up to EU norms; the law on data availability was approved etc.
It should be reminded that on May 30, the Dutch Senate (the upper house of the parliament) voted for ratification of EU-Ukraine Association Agreement.
