Starting from today, the Ukrainians can go to Turkey, using domestic passports in the form of ID cards, because in June, the agreement on reciprocal travels of citizens of two countries will come into force, - Ambassador of Ukraine to Turkey Andrey Sibiga reported, hub’s reports.
The diplomat specified that the citizens of Ukraine and Turkey, using passports in the form of contactless electronic cards, will be allowed to enter, depart, transit and stay without visas for a period of 90 days within 180 days on the Turkish territory. Such conditions also apply to the Turkish citizens in Ukraine.
In his turn, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groisman reminded in Facebook that the relevant intergovernmental agreement was signed during its visit to Ankara on March 14, 2017, and in three days, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the order on its approval.
