From the beginning of the current year, Oshchadbank disbursed 133 loans for the total amount of UAH 270 mln to small and medium agricultural producers, Financial Club reports.
“The total amount of disbursed funds is UAH 270 mln. The funding was mainly obtained by the agrarians from Zaporizhzhya, Luhansk, Kherson regions”, according to the message.
Oshchadbank offers agrarians the loans at the rate of 16.9%. Meanwhile, within partners’ programs the Ukrainain enterprises can update and form the machinery and equipment park at the rates of 12%.
The bank finances more than 400 agricultural enterprises. These companies deal with the production of crop plants (mainly, wheat, corn, rape, sunflower oil) and cattle breeding (beef, pork, poultry and milk).
Oshchadbank noted that soon, it is planned to sign the agreement on cooperation with the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine for participation in the government program of compensation of 20% of the cost of acquired agricultural equipment of Ukrainian production by agrarians. The Cabinet of Ministers allocated UAH 550 mln for realization of this program.
