This week, the gas reserves in the underground gas storages of Ukraine increased by 3% - up to 10.9 bln cubic meters.
Between June 10 and 17, the natural gas reserves in Ukrainian underground gas storages increased by 3.2%, or by 332 mln cub. m. – up to 10.851 bln cub. m. from 10.519 bln cub.m, as evidenced by the data of Ukrtransgas, the operator of the gas transportation system of Ukraine, UNIAN reports.
According to company’s data, the daily volume of gas injection in underground storages as of June 17 made up 52 mln cubic meters. As UNIAN reported, Ukraine entered the heating season of 2016-2017 with blue fuel reserves, totaling 14.7 bln cub.m, and ended the season with 8.4 bln cub.m. On March 13, Ukrtransgas reported that Ukraine halted gas withdrawal from storages and started its injection.
