The Canadian financial aid will increase by almost 7 mln dollars.
Canada planned to transfer USD 6.89 mln to Ukraine, which will be allocated for several projects in different spheres, Minister of International Trade of Canada Chrystia Freeland said, Ukrinform reports.
According to Freeland, Canada, which helps Ukraine from the beginning of the crisis in 2013, allocated funds for five initiatives, associated with monitoring the observance of human rights, settlement of conflicts, mine risk education, their detection and their deactivation.
The minister noted that Canada continues to support Ukrainians, encourages the protection of their rights and respects the integrity of Ukraine’s borders.
