On Monday, the Council of the European Union approved temporary trade preferences for Ukraine, as said in the press release of the Council of the European Union, EU reports.
“The today’s decision enables us to export more Ukrainian products to EU. Our responsibility is to support Ukraine and strengthen our economic and political links amid the continuous conflict”, - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia Sven Mikser said.
It is reported that the measures will come into force by late September and will be applied within three years.
