President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed the law On Introduction of Amendments to Law of Ukraine On State Budget of Ukraine for 2017, according to the official website of the President.

“The poor are the first, who should obtain funds from the budget overfulfilment. It refers to the people, who obtain subsidies. We should ensure that their expenditures are fully financed”, Poroshenko noted.

According to Poroshenko, the experimental program, under which the overfulfilment of receipts from the customs is directed to the construction of roads in regions, is successful.

The President said that the rural medicine funding is the third significant direction.

“The deputies listened to my suggestions and allocated UAH 4 billion for development of rural medicine”, the President noted.

Poroshenko noted that the budget overfulfilment became possible thanks to the unshadowing and fighting against corruption.

It was previously reported that the Verkhovna Rada approved the amendments to the state budget.

According to the amendments, it is planned to increase state budget revenues from UAH 731.031 bln to UAH 770.967 bln.

Meanwhile, to increase the revenues of the state budget’s general fund – from UAH 673.7 bln to UAH 701.7 bln, and the special fund – from UAH 57.3 bln to UAH 69.2 bln.

It is suggested increasing the state budget expenditures from UAH 800.126 bln to UAH 841.102 bln.

The expenditures of the general fund – from UAH 739.7 bln to UAH 767.7 bln, and the special fund – from UAH 60.4 bln to UAH 73.4 bln.

The maximum size of the deficit of state budget is retained at UAH 77.647 bln.

The maximum size of the state debt will increase from UAH 1.7167 trln to UAH 1.8237 in connection with PrivatBank’s capital increase.
