There are no economic prerequisites for it.
Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavel Rozenko stated that today, there are no economic prerequisites for increasing gas price and utility services rates, he told 112 Ukraine.
“According to the National Bank, today, the inflation trends are normal in Ukraine, and we hold down the inflation within the framework, fixed in the state budget, and the fact that we maintain national currency stability for long time is the factor of absence of any grounds for revision or increasing gas price for the public. That is, today, there are no economic prerequisites for increasing utility rates and gas price for the public. And I am sure that it will not happen; I, as the member of government, can clearly say that I will not personally support any decision for increasing gas price”, Rozenko said.
