Ukraine should consider the payment for roaming.
It is assumed that the interstate agreement between the Eastern Partnership and the European Union will be concluded.
Ukraine may cancel the payment for roaming with the countries of the European Union in 2019-2020, Head of the National Commission for the State Regulation of Communications and Informatization (NCSRCI) Alexander Zhyvotovsky told, Correspondent.net reports, quoting Interfax Ukraine.
“The expert group is currently working… As per the results of its work, the proposals will be prepared in autumn. In 2019-2020, we will achieve the interstate agreement between Ukraine, the countries of the Eastern Partnership and the European Union”, Zhyvotovsky said.
According to him, such time is optimal.
“Europe made way toward the roaming cancellation for 14 years. I think that three years is a sufficient time to implement it in Ukraine”, Zhyvotovsky noted.
