Paid roads on the way
Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution whereby the list of state property objects, which can be given in concession, will also include three roads, the press service of the Ministry of Infrastructure informs.
This concerns, in particular, these routes: Lviv - Krakovets, Ulianovka - Mykolaiv - Kherson - Krosnoperekopsk - Simferopol, and Novomoskovsk - Zaporizhzhia - Melitopol - Djankoi - Simferopol.
According to the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Kozak, new routes in these areas are needed due to steady growth of traffic.
For each of these roads project documents have already been developed. It is expected that the estimated cost of Lviv - Krakovets road construction 84.4 km long will amount to 4.3 billion UAH, Ulianovka-Mykolaiv-Kherson-Krosnoperekopsk stretching 533 km - 24.2 billion UAH, Novomoskovsk - Zaporizhzhia - Melitopol - Djankoi – Simferopol (475 km) - 21.4 billion UAH. Projected travel cost for cars will range from 30 kopecks to 1 UAH per kilometer, depending on the type of vehicle and terms of implementation of each individual project. At the same time alternate passage by directions of new roads is also provided.
After adding these projects to the list of concession objects preparation of documentation for the competition will begin to attract a concessionaire for construction and subsequent operation of highways. According to the resolution adopted by the concession tenders will be agreed by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
