For the last 6 years, Ukraine achieved the biggest progress in a Doing Business rating among all Post-Soviet countries, EP reports quoting Financial Times.
According to World Bank reports, since 2010 Post-Soviet countries improved their business environment more than other countries.
Such development may seem strange, if we take into account broad concerns regarding the influence of public entities on the legal system and the traditions of oligarchs on the territory of a former Soviet Union.
However, according to the World Bank, since 2010 FT analysis shows that most countries, which are considered to have improved a Doing Business rating, are former communists.
The World Bank data emphasize the efforts of economic reforms of Ukraine and other Post-Soviet states: Uzbekistan, Belarus, Kazakhstan etc.
According to the report, the countries, the rating of which decreased, are Hong Kong, South Africa, Saudi Arabia and Venezuela.
