Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman expressed the conviction that Ukraine can become a Startup Nation, he wrote in Facebook.
“To become the next startup nation is a good goal for us, and I am fully confident in its achievability. Ukraine has the prerequisites to achieve it. The government already started working on the support of new projects, which have chances for global success”, the Prime Minister noted.
Groisman also informed that recently he initiated a creation of the innovation board in the government.
“And now, drawing on the experience of Israel, Turkey and some other countries, we are working out the mechanism of its operation. It also refers to the participation of the state in the financial support of promising startups”, Groisman reported.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister emphasized that the main thing is to ensure the business climate, favorable for development.
“To make and teach the controlling bodies to work under the principle ‘help, but not impede’ is one of the most serious challenges today”, he added.
