In 2016, the Ukrainians transferred 56 mln euros from Germany to Ukraine. This is the highest indicator for the last five years, European Truth reports quoting Deutsche Welle as per the information of the Federal Bank of Germany.
This amount is more than in 2015 and 2014, when 52 and 54 million euros were transferred to Ukraine respectively, and is the highest indicator from 2012.
In 2016, the natives of other countries, residing in Germany, transferred a total of 4.2 billion euros to their native countries. This amount is record since the time of German reunification and exceeds 2015 indicators by 700 mln euros.
Most money from FRG is sent to Turkey – about 800 mln euros are annually transferred there.
It should be reminded that since the beginning of the year, Germany issued two thousand “blue cards” to Ukrainians, which are provided to the specialists, who have employment contract with the companies, located on EU territory.
