The National Corruption Prevention Agency requests Kyiv’s Pechersk District Court to impose fine, amounting to UAH 850-1,700, on Minister of Youth and Sports Igor Zhdanov for non-disclosure of 80 thousand hryvnias of salary, UT reports quoting NCPA’s source.
According to his data, the decision on submission of minutes to the court was taken during the agency’s meeting on September 22.
The source in the national agency corroborated this information to Ukrainian Truth.
According to him, Zhdanov did not include data about considerable change of his material status in salary information for December 2016.
It should be reminded that according to the Law On Corruption Prevention, in case of considerable change of material status, namely – obtaining proceeds or purchasing property for the amount, exceeding 50 minimum wages for able-bodied persons (80 ths hryvnias), the subject of declaration should notify NCPA in writing, within 10 days.
As is known, Zhdanov occupies the position of Minister of Youth and Sports from February 17, 2016.
This year, his salary amounted to: UAH 24 ths – for January, 23.9 ths – for February, 62 ths – for March, 67.4 ths – for April, 58.2 ths – for May, 30.6 ths – for June, UAH 39.1 ths – for July.
