Travelling on several trains is now possible with one ticket
From 1 October 2013 Ukrzaliznytsia has given passengers the opportunity to draw up a trip with one transfer on one paper, informs the press service of the Ukrzaliznytsia.
This way, when purchasing a ticket to travel with a transfer, railway passengers will have to pay the fare and a fee of 12.5 UAH. This applies to trains of internal connection formed by UZ.
For example, if a passenger is planning a trip from Donetsk to Lviv via Kyiv, they can draw two tickets on the same paper.
When preparing a travel document with a transfer on the same form, the ticket clerk must agree with the passenger the interval between the time of arrival and departure from the transfer station. In addition, the transfer must be made no later 10 days after the arrival of passenger to interchange station.
Passengers can return the tickets issued on the same form on a common basis. In the event of a cancelled trip the passenger must apply to the railway ticket office no later one hour after the departure of the train to get the money for the distance not covered. Fees on return of tickets will be charged for each unrealized trip.
