Gazprom continues not to fulfill technical obligations under the contract for gas transit with Naftogaz of Ukraine NSJC on maintaining gas pressure in main pipelines on Sudzha entry point on the Russian-Ukrainian border, Naftogaz’s press office informs, EP reports.
According to Ukrtransgas, from the beginning of the year, Gazprom’s failure to maintain contractual pressure (60-65 kgf/cm2) was observed within 259 days (88%) on Sudzha entry point of transit main gas pipelines in Ukrainian GTS.
“Currently, the pressure is only 55.8 kgf/cm2 (with contractual 60 kgf/cm2)”, the company reported.
Previously, Ukrtransgas and Naftogaz repeatedly reported the violation of the terms and conditions of the contractual agreement regarding pressure, under which the gas is supplied to Ukraine’s territory.
Naftogaz already addressed to the European Commission with the request to fix Gazprom’s violation of its contractual obligations.
