NCPA suspects Vice President of Antonov Corporation Andrei Chabanov of corruption, the press office of national agency informs, ET reports.
“According to regulations, NCPA requires to conduct internal investigation for finding the reasons and conditions, leading to commission of corruption-related offence, and consider the question on bringing the guilty person to justice”, according to the statement.
“As per the results of the audit, conducted by the NCPA’s Department for Monitoring Observance of Legislation on Conflict of Interests and Other Restrictions on Corruption Prevention, it was established that Vice President of Antonov SE Andrei Chabanov, being an official of the legal entity under public law, violated the regulations of the first part of Article 36 of the Law of Ukraine On Corruption Prevention, namely he did not transfer the management of his own companies and corporate rights to other individual within 30 days after assignment to the position, thus having committed the corruption-related offence”, NCPA reports.
The press office of the national agency notes that the regulation is mandatory for performance. For nonperformance of the regulation, the director of the organization assumes responsibility, stipulated by Article 18846 of UCAO.
