The National Bank reported on the growth of assets. NBU balance sheet figures increased by 5% for a year.
The balance sheet of the National Bank of Ukraine as of October 1 is UAH 989.1 bln, which is by 5% higher than these indicators as of January 1, 2017. NBU’s financial indicators were published in Uryadovyi Kurier, Correspondent.net reports.
The main changes in assets were fixed on such items: funds and deposits in foreign currency and bank metals, which decreased 2.19 times – to UAH 23.266 bln as well as non-resident securities, which increased by 35.11% - to UAH 371.984 bln.
In NBU’s liabilities, the funds of state and other institutions increased two times - to UAH 98,932 bln, the liabilities to Internal Monetary Fund (IMF) – by 16.74%, to UAH 198.178 bln as well as the asset and liability revaluation reserves – by 38%, up to UAH 128.692 bln.
The liabilities for transferring profit to the state budget decreased most of all – three times, to UAH 14.379 bln and NBU’s deposit certificates – by 45.96%, up to UAH 36.836 bln.
As it was reported, the international reserves of the National Bank increased in August by 1.3% to USD 18.035 bln versus July.
