The National Commission for the State Regulation of Communications and Informatization approved the beginning of 4G tender within the range of 2600 MHz on January 23, 2018, according to the information, posted in the regulator’s site, ET reports.
On this day, the tender participants will be determined among candidates. The trading will be held by voice.
The frequencies within the ranges of 2510-2545 MHz, 2565 - 2570 MHz, 2630 - 2665 MHz and 2685 - 2690 MHz in all regions of Ukraine were put up for auction.
The conditions for holding the tender will be posted on the regulator’s site until November 10. The applications for participation in the auction will be accepted from November 13 to December 22 inclusive.
The commission will consider the question of holding the tender within the range of 1800 MHz in the first decade of December.
It should be reminded that on July 4, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a minimum cost of the license for launching connection under 4G standard within the range of 2600 MHz at UAH 2.3 bln.
On August 9, it approved holding of 4.G tender within the range of 1800 MHz with a minimum price at UAH 4 bln.
