NBU Board Member Dmitri Sologub stated that Ukraine significantly increases export of its products, he said in the interview to ET.
“Several years ago, everybody talked that Ukraine will not be able to export these products (meat and milk products) to Europe due to the incompliance with its quality standards”, Sologub said.
Now, according to him, we start “overwhelming” their market with their products.
“Ukraine holds almost 60% of the global market of sunflower oil; the butter is better sold in North Africa, Turkey and Holland; the export of chicken to Egypt and European Union is actively growing”, NBU Board Member added.
It was previously reported that the export of Ukrainian agricultural and food products to EU countries increased by 39.8%.
